This guide will walk you through the exact materials required and the steps to craft the Artisan's Splendent Asvata Staff.

Required Materials

Before you begin, gather all of the following components. Do not attempt to craft without every item in your inventory.

Artisan's Splendent Asvata Staff (Base): 1

Artisan's Ultimate Refining Stone: 5

Enhanced Thick Balaur Scale: 22

Wrathful Mind: 10

Radiant Asvata Log: 12

Radiant Odyle: 7

Step 1: Obtain the Base Weapon

You need one Artisan's Splendent Asvata Staff as your foundation.

Where to get it: This base staff is typically obtained through high-end dungeon drops, world bosses, or as a reward from the Artisan crafting questline.

Tip: If you have a lower-tier Splendent staff, check if an upgrade path exists at the Artisan Workbench.

Step 2: Gather the Refining Stones

You need 5 Artisan's Ultimate Refining Stones.

Where to get them: These are endgame refining materials. Farm them from level 55+ Elite mobs in Balaur-dominated zones, daily or weekly Artisan reputation turn-ins, or by disenchanting unwanted Artisan-grade gear.

Note: These are not the same as standard Refining Stones. Ensure the item name reads "Ultimate."

Step 3: Collect the Balaur Scales

You need 22 Enhanced Thick Balaur Scales.

Where to get them: Thick Balaur Scales drop from Balaur-type enemies. The base scale must then be Enhanced via a processing recipe at the Alchemy or Leatherworking table. For higher efficiency, farm named Balaur Drakes in the Dragon Lord's Domain with a full party.

Efficiency tip: A full party farm in the Balaur Nest can yield 5–8 scales per hour.

Step 4: Secure the Wrathful Minds

You need 10 Wrathful Minds.

Where to get them: These drop from corrupted or enraged spirits, typically found in the Wrathful Temple dungeon (final boss) or during shadow rift events during peak server hours.

Rarity: Uncommon drop. Bring luck-boosting consumables or group with a Spiritmaster for higher drop rates.

Step 5: Gather the Radiant Logs

You need 12 Radiant Asvata Logs.

Where to get them: Harvested from Radiant Asvata Trees located in the Asvata Forest endgame zone. This area requires a flying mount or high climbing skill to navigate. Node respawn timers are approximately 15–20 minutes.

Alternative: Purchase from the Trading Post or complete logging guild dailies for guaranteed logs.

Step 6: Collect the Radiant Odyle

You need 7 Radiant Odyle.

Where to get them: Obtained by processing Odyle Shards found in celestial rifts or endgame gathering nodes in Odyle Basin. Note that Odyle Basin is a PvP zone, so proceed with caution.

Crafting note: Radiant Odyle requires an Alchemist skill of 400+ to refine from standard Odyle. If you lack the skill, commission a guildmate.

Step 7: Craft the Staff

Once you have all materials:

Travel to a major city (e.g., Sanctum or Pandaemonium) and locate the Artisan Workbench.

Interact with the workbench and navigate to Weapons → Staves → Star Dragon Lord Series.

Insert your 1 Artisan's Splendent Asvata Staff as the base.

Warning: Crafting is not reversible. Double-check that you have selected the correct staff variant. The Star Dragon Lord Staff is bound to your character upon creation.

Step 8: After Crafting

Enchant it: The Star Dragon Lord Staff can be further enhanced with Enchantment Stones at the Anvil.
